I took The Great Hunt on holiday with me and managed to get through it this time around, and even better I can’t wait to get to the next one, at this rate I should finally make headway in this series.

Anyway my thoughts on The Great Hunt in point form:

- Rand all the Denial is fun an all, and yes you can protest being called Lewis Theron all you want, but you are still the Dragon Reborn so you should just admit it and get it over with.

-I miss fun Mat, sick Mat is not much fun.

-I knew Liandrin was up to no good the moment she appeared!

-I still can’t bring myself to like Egwene, I don’t know why, I’ve managed to warm up to Nyneave, but Egwene still rubs me the wrong way, although even I want to do terrible things to the Seanchan for what they did to her.

-But at least she is right about Rand being a wool-head, him along with Loial and Hurin, sure I did not expect them to realize she was Lanfear, but they had to sense that something was not right about her, I mean really.

-WHY INGTAR?? WHY?! Well at least, he died in an honorable manner.
